Prediction window

A dot moves at a steady speed behind a solid bar. You must tap before it would leave the bar: once any part of it would show on the far side, the round is lost so you cannot react with your eyes. Only early taps count as prediction; your score is how close you were (milliseconds early). Lower error is better. Each round uses a new random hide duration; the bar width matches that duration at the same speed.

This game asks you to picture steady motion while something is out of sight, then act at the moment you expect it to return. It can be good practice for inner timing and attention without rushing.

These games are for fun and for learning how you do at little tasks. Short rounds like these can help you cognitively by giving you a place to train attention, memory, and hand eye timing in a playful way. They are not a doctor visit. They are not a school test you must pass. A score here does not mean you are sick or broken. People are all a little different and your results can change from day to day. If you feel pain, fear, or worry about your body or your mind, talk to a trusted grown up or a pro who helps people feel better. We hope you enjoy the games and learn a little about how fast and steady you can go. Read more on the Privacy page.

Press start, then predict the emergence.

Desktop: click the track or press Space slightly before you expect the dot to leave the bar. If the dot would become visible before you tap, or you tap after that instant, the round is lost. Each round picks a new random hide duration; the bar is wider or narrower so the distance behind it matches that duration at the same speed.
